Research Area: The status of wintering grassland birds in De Soto National Forest, MS in post-Katrina salvage-logged sites and Red-cockaded Woodpecker clusters.

I am also interested in how bird communities differ between upslope pine savannas and seepage bog habitats and the effects of prescribed fire and shrub encroachment
