Bryan is a research associate in the School of Renewable Resources and is also pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences. Bryan's research centers on coastal wetland habitat. He is interested in the interaction between marsh habitat, estuarine fish communities and climatic variability, particularly as it applies to the influence of physical pulse events. Additionally, Bryan is involved in studies of the effects of habitat restoration techniques (e.g. shoreline protection, thin-layer dredge material application) on coastal marsh ecology.

Felixcia Mendoza-Jones is a graduate student in the School of Renewable Natural Resources pursuing her Master's degree. Felixcia's research focuses on the response of salt marsh benthic invertebrate communities to sediment addition and organic enrichment.

Bryan Gossman is a research associate in the School of Renewable Natural Resources. He is engaged in studies examining the functional response of marshes to thin layer dredge disposal, examining the response of oyster populations to freshwater diversion events, and sampling fish communities in Lake Maurepas. Bryan holds a master's degree from Louisiana State University and is an airboat driver extraordinaire.
