The Graduate Committee of the School of RNR has general responsibilities for developing and monitoring graduate
 degree programs. The following are the duties of this Committee:

 1) Conduct curriculum planning and development, including policies for course and degree requirements;

 2) Handle graduate admissions matters;
 3) Perform initial review of new graduate course proposals;
 4) Develop and conduct active graduate student recruitment program;
 5) Make recommendations on graduate student awards and recognition;
 6) Review Guidelines for Graduate Study and make appropriate recommendations to the faculty;
 7) Provide liaison with the Graduate School;
 8) Provide liaison with graduate students and advise the Director on the handling of student grievances; and
 9) Advise the faculty and students on matters pertaining to the graduate programs.
