Mapping Forested Wetland Conditions from Remote Sensing Data

  

The Forested Wetlands Lab in the School of Renewable Natural Resources has developed a cypress-tupelo classification for the area surrounding Lake Verret, Louisiana, including parts of Iberia, Iberville, and Assumption Parishes. The classification is based on the first two principle components of reflectance of a seven image stack in Erdas IMAGINE 9.0.
