Research Interests:

My research generally explores the response of wetland ecosystems to hydrologic alteration, global sea level rise, or pollution. Much of my research addresses vegetation. I sometimes study the effect of biotic factors (such as herbivory) and abiotic factors (such as marsh management) on plant communities, but increasingly I study the effect of vegetation on wetland structure, function, and dynamics.
