Graduate Committee Requirements

The Graduate Committee of the School of RNR has general responsibilities for developing and monitoring graduate degree programs. The following are the duties of this Committee:

  1. Conduct curriculum planning and development, including policies for course and degree requirements.
  2. Handle graduate admissions matters.
  3. Perform initial review of new graduate course proposals.
  4. Develop and conduct active graduate student recruitment program.
  5. Make recommendations on graduate student awards and recognition.
  6. Review Guidelines for Graduate Study and make appropriate recommendations to the faculty.
  7. Provide liaison with the Graduate School.
  8. Provide liaison with graduate students and advise the Director on the handling of student grievances.
  9. Advise the faculty and students on matters pertaining to the graduate programs.
