Research is focused on ecology and forest responses to environmental conditions, environmental change and forest practices.    Concerns involve forest health, sustainability, productivity,  and especially  factors related to regeneration and restoration of  the coastal wetland forests. Goals include:

Developing indices for identification of Cypress-Tupelo Regeneration Regeneration Condition Classes
