::: Coming Attractions ::: Range maps will be added to the species pages, as well as links to source sites (such as ITIS, USDA Plant database, and others). Image updates are forthcoming on the species pages as I work my way through the backlog. Many more "Zoomified" images will be added. And at some point, we will finish the text descriptions for the virtual tour site pages and complete the descriptions on individual species pages.

29 October 2013: Changed the fruit designation from "drupe" to "berry" for Ampelopsis cordata (heartleaf peppervine) and Parthenocissus quinquefolia (Virginia creeper).

23 September 2013: Corrected "Plant List by Family" so that the listings were ordered by Scientific Name within each family. Repaired the "Top" link code at the bottom of the page.

20 September 2013: Updated Family name for Taxodium sp to Cupressaceae and Family name for Nyssa sp. to Cornaceae to reflect current taxonomic associations. Added "Plant Lists Sorted by Family" link to all species pages, to correct that omission.

18 September 2013: Updated Cornus drummondii page with alternate common name - "swamp dogwood".

12 September 2013: Updated/corrected spellings for common names: blackgum, Chinese tallow, French-mulbery, osage-orange, poison-ivy, poison-oak, and American hornbeam. Updated scientific name for Ligustrum lucidum.

9 September 2013: The site has been completly redesigned and updated. Underlying code has been streamlined. New features have been addeded including site menus on all pages and updated Wetland Plant Indicator designations.
